Join us for a coasteering adventure where you will have the opportunity to explore the coastline by scrambling, jumping into the water, swimming, climbing, rappelling, and zip-lining. This activity allows you to discover hidden spots, otherwise impossible to see. Come and be thrilled! After coasteering, enjoy a well-deserved lunch and explore the beautiful beach town of Sesimbra.
Head back to your accommodation in time for dinner.
Important: All participants must be able to swim. You will have a very detailed safety briefing and qualified instructors to guide you through the full duration of this experience.

We will start the tour with a little walk through the mysterious Pena Park and discover secret caves and trails. Afterwards we will visit National Pena Palace, a marvelous palace from the 19th century that is also one of the most significant examples of the Portuguese architecture from the Romantic period. We will then head to the historical center of Sintra, where you’ll have free time to grab lunch and visit National Sintra Palace. After lunch, we will drive through the natural wonders of Sintra Natural Park, passing by several impressive palaces until we stop at the Roca Cape cliffs – the westernmost point of Continental Europe. Next, you will be taken on a scenic drive along the Atlantic coast; we will stop at the Guincho Beach and afterwards pass by “Boca do Inferno”. Finally, enjoy a leisurely walk along the bay at the glamorous town of Cascais. Drive along the coast to Lisbon passing by Estoril.

On route to Porto, you will have a stop in Nazaré, a picturesque fishing village that has now become internationally famous for having the world’s biggest waves. Join in on an optional surfing excursion and see why Nazaré has the potential for all levels of surfing throughout the year. Before and after surfing, you will have the opportunity to grab lunch and explore Nazare!

Important: All participants must be able to swim. You will have a very detailed safety briefing and the instructors will evaluate your surfing level and adjust the surfing program where necessary to provide you with the best experience.

Described by many as the most fascinating place in the Algarve, the Cave of Benagil is a natural site that came into being thousands of years ago thanks to the force of water that has carved through the sandstone cliff creating a striking cave. From Praia do Carvoeiro, where the Benagil Cave boat tour begins, we sail along the coast, past charming places such as the “Doll” and “Algar Seco,” as well as wonderful white sand beaches. Pass by the Alfanzina Lighthouse, which is recognized as one of the most iconic in the Algarve, discover countless rock formations and visit the interior of the main ten Benagil Caves.

Take a beautiful day trip to Montserrat! Famous for its unusual morphology, its name comes from the Catalan words Mont (mountain) and Serrat (serrated). World-famous for its rocky geography, Montserrat’s beautiful scenery was declared a National Park in 1987 to protect its natural and cultural wealth. Your tour guide will take you on beautiful walks and teach you about the history and architectural style of the Monastery. Montserrat is breathtaking and will have you falling in love with the Gothic and Renaissance details of the basilica and sanctuary. You will have free time to get some picturesque shots and enjoy a nice lunch with a view of the beautiful mountain. Head back to your accommodation in time for dinner.

Costa Rica has long been a popular destination for surfers worldwide. Famous Playa Grande on the Pacific Coast is one of the favoured beaches for wave riders of all levels. Located in Las Baulas National Park, Playa Grande is a long white-sand beach offering stunning views of the surrounding natural marine park, which has been carefully preserved as it is a nesting site for huge leatherback turtles. The quiet beach is also an ideal destination to learn surfing as it is rarely crowded and provides consistent, ride-able waves with perfect left and right peaks.

We will leave Playas del Coco early in the morning for a short ride through coastal towns before arriving at Playa Grande. There we will be greeted by our surf instructors, who will provide equipment and go over the basics and safety of surfing this famous beach. Each student will receive individual attention and instructions before having the opportunity to conquer the waves on his/her own. Hang ten, and look out for those swells!

After a fun day of surfing, we will have lunch (included) in a nearby beach café, stroll through the marine park, and return to Playas del Coco in the afternoon.

Love wildlife? This excursion will take you on an animal discovery adventure. Bijagua Ranas is a family owned animal reserve located in the lush Guanacaste mountain range. Here you can find 2-toed and 3-toed sloths hanging from the trees in the forest canopy above, different types of colourful frogs, blue morpho butterflies, hummingbirds, snakes, toucans and other birds, marching ants, and more! The property is perfect for slow paced walking and enjoying the animals in their natural setting. We won’t be touching the animals but bring your cameras and you can photograph them up close.

After our animal discovery walk we will take a short drive to the magical Rio Celeste Waterfall. This huge 98 foot breathtaking waterfall plunges into a jungle pool of famously bright turquois blue water, all surrounded by the dense tropical forest. Another incredible photo opportunity!

Try your hand at this delicious cuisine! We will spend the afternoon making casado—the most traditional Costa Rican dish, which incorporates meat or chicken, rice, beans, vegetables and tasty fried plantains. We will start from the very beginning, learning the proper way to soak the beans before cooking, and see the dish to its completion! Once finished, we will enjoy the fruits of our labour. This is certainly a skill to take home!
