This excursion will have you experiencing a very Greek day!

You will start by taking a walking tour around Nippos, a small and picturesque village surrounded by white mountains. Nippos is known as an old style, peaceful and quiet village with many churches, with the most famous church in the village being St. George. Work up an appetite before heading over to the taverna where you will get an introduction to all the fresh herbs, vegetables, and olive oils you will be using to create your meals. You will learn about authentic recipes and enjoy a delicious meal that you have created yourself! You will be making crumbled tomatoes on traditional brusquettes (dako), the classic tzatziki, Greek cabbage rolls, stuffed vegetables with rice and herbs (gemista), and the famous Greek salad with feta cheese on top. You will also learn how to make the traditional phyllo dough and sweet Cretan cheese pies filled with myzithra cheese.

When in Santorini, one must learn and experience how this island came to be. Santorini is a volcanic island group at the central south end of the Cyclades in the Aegean Sea. It is arguably the most famous of the Greek islands and it is renowned for its spectacular sea-filled volcanic caldera. Santorini’s half-moon shaped bay is surrounded by steep, colourful cliffs and spectacular sea views.

Once we arrive at the volcanic bay by boat, we will follow the path to the top of the volcano to Palea Kameni where active craters still gently puff steam. Here will experience the famous hot springs and mud baths, which were formed as result of volcanic eruptions. In the small bay of Agios Nikolaos the water temperature ranges from 30 to 35 degrees Celsius, as it mixes continuously with the normal sea currents. We will enjoy a therapeutic experience while gazing at the amazing view of the caldera that lies opposite.

Set sail for an unforgettable adventure on-board a traditional Greek “Kaiki” (a wooden boat) around the islands and islets of Antiparos, Despotiko and Panteronissi. These hidden gem islands of the Aegean Sea are only accessible by boat and boast beautiful beaches, coves and stunning blue waters.

This sailing experience offers a unique aspect of the return to untamed beauty and life in nature. Explore Antiparos, the laid-back sister island of Paros, the beauty of the uninhabited Despotiko Island, and discover the Blue Lagoon of Panteronissi that will make you feel like you are in a huge swimming pool created by Mother Nature herself.

We will have several swimming stops throughout this excursion and even have opportunities to explore different caves. We will enjoy a traditional Greek lunch on-board our kaiki before heading back to shore.

Bring your energy and join us for a two-hour upper body Stand-Up Paddling workout. Your instructors will demonstrate techniques on how to use your SUP and share with you their knowledge about safety precautions and procedures while out on the water. Afterwards you will have plenty of time to enjoy paddling on your own under supervision and float on the scenic sea while taking in stunning views.
